there were more whistle blowers before Wendell… and you can bet there are more people in a lot of these corrupt industries sitting in their offices as of right now just living with the fact that, they know they are screwing us, and they don’t care/cant care/don’t want to be bothered to care. And there are many other corrupt businessman/lobbyists/bureaucrats who are scared to even come out and expose their dirty laundry like Wendell was then. Its heart warming and sad at the same time.

  9. 98mimi says:

This ugly over weight slob is the reason health care is so high,he tells so many lies that he wouldn’t know the truth if it hit him in his ugly fat rear.

I think Ford’s welfare capitalism needs to be a central component of American life, because the US gov’t does not provide a strong enough safety net like Western Europe does. Further, Ford showed that treating employees better and paying them more can actually increase productivity and increase profit. Ford was a great thinker aside from his virulent antisemitism.

    4) Capitalism is used to build EMPIRES. In America, We don’t like imperialism or imperial classes. We don’t bow to queens! What did the evil little Queen of Buckingham palace who gets hauled around in a golden carriage ever produce of real value to others in exchange for all her wealth? Did she really earn that wealth? What about Bernie Madoff ? We must return to the American System of economy! Google: LaRouche on the American Sysytem of economics

  12. gkgreger says:

) But, what did he produce of real value to others in exchange for the profit he made? The shareholder does the same thing. The Capitalist is a parasite that feeds of the production of others without having to produce anything of real value himself. He is a drag in the economy & sucks money out of the economy like a tick attaches to a healthy horse. He gets a free lunch. A Capitalist is BAD for any economy. Capitalism is not the American system of economy.

  13. gkgreger says:

    2) Under the real American system of economy, real wealth is measured on ones ability to manufacture & produce something. But, the Capitalist has found a way to obtain money without having to produce or manufacture anything of real value to others. He just makes his money make more money. A privet banker does the same thing. He loans you $1000. You work & produce your ass off & pay him back $1,150. He profits $150 off your ability to produce.

  14. gkgreger says:

    1) Capitalism violates the purpose for money. There are products & services we need & desire & must have in order to survive well as a culture & Nation. We produce a verity of products & use money as the medium of exchange to obtain those different products. THAT IS THE ONLY PURPOSE FOR MONEY! It’s just paper! It has no other real value or purpose. If you want more money, you must be able to CREATE & MANUFACTURE something of real value to people.

    Well, Ford wasn’t that great.

He hired black people when others wouldn’t only to put them in jobs where they would die faster.

He payed his employees more, only to force his compition to pay more too.

Not that he was all bad, but certainly no saint.

  16. Stargrave says:

because ppl who seek money and power always want more money and power

I don’t understand why corporations can’t go back to the business practices of Henry Ford. He paid his employees very well and produced a good automobile that the masses could afford. He was a great business man and revolutionized the industrial age. The key part that made Ford a great company was making a great product and making it affordable for everyone. If only health insurance and the other industries could do the same.

If the big insurance companies can “collude” to smear a film, imagine what they’re doing with health care? That’s called an oligopoly and breaks our anti-trust laws. And now our president wants everyone to prop up this industry… very interesting.
